Cookie Policy

Version 1.0 — Draft for legal review
Last updated: 7 August 2026

Your choices matter. We use strictly necessary technologies to operate and secure the website. We use optional preference, statistics and marketing technologies only in accordance with the choice recorded through our Cookiebot consent banner. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time in the live declaration below.

This Cookie Policy explains how Elevate Healthcare Group Limited, company number 16231959, trading as MYTRT, uses cookies, local storage, pixels and similar technologies on www.mytrt.com. It should be read with our Privacy Notice.

1. What cookies and similar technologies are

A cookie is a small data file stored on a computer, telephone or other device when a website is used. Cookies can remember a session, basket, security status, preference or identifier. Some expire when the browser closes; others remain for a stated period.

The same legal rules may apply to other ways of storing information on, or accessing information from, a device. We therefore use “cookies” in this policy to include technologies such as:

  • local storage and session storage;
  • pixels, tags and web beacons;
  • software development kit or embedded-service identifiers;
  • device or browser identifiers; and
  • scripts that read or write information on the device.

The UK Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations apply to cookies and similar device technologies even where the information is not directly identifying. [1]

Strictly necessary technologies

We may use a technology without consent only where an applicable exemption permits it—for example, where it is strictly necessary to provide an online service you requested, maintain a shopping basket, authenticate a payment, record the consent choice, protect security or distribute network load. We still explain these technologies in the declaration.

Optional technologies

Preference, statistics and marketing technologies are not treated as strictly necessary merely because they are useful to us. We request consent before optional technologies are used, subject to how the applicable provider and consent mode operate. [2] Valid consent must be freely given, specific, informed and indicated by a clear positive action; continuing to browse is not, by itself, consent. [1]

Changing your choice

You can change or withdraw consent at any time through the Change your consent control in the live declaration in section 5. [3] Withdrawing consent does not make earlier lawful use unlawful. It prevents the relevant optional category from being used in future, although an existing third-party cookie may need to be removed through the browser or may remain inactive until it expires.

The consent platform stores a consent identifier, date and category choices so that the website can respect and evidence your instruction. If you ask us about a Cookiebot consent record, include the consent ID and date displayed in the declaration where available.

3. The categories we use

Category Purpose Consent position Examples from the verified scan
Necessary Operate core pages, sessions, baskets, payments, bot protection, load balancing and consent records Used where strictly necessary; no optional consent required MYTRT/WooCommerce session and cart storage, Cookiebot consent, Stripe payment security, CAPTCHA and load-balancing records
Preferences Remember choices that change how a service behaves or is displayed Used with consent unless a narrow exemption applies Payment-window or interface state
Statistics Measure visits, navigation, device and campaign performance to improve the website Used with consent Google Analytics identifiers and TWIPLA analytics storage
Marketing Measure advertising, attribute conversions, build or limit advertising audiences and understand campaign interaction Used with consent Meta Pixel, Google advertising/conversion technologies and Sourcebuster-style attribution cookies
Unclassified A technology detected by the scanner whose purpose has not yet been confirmed Not intentionally treated as optional-consent-free merely because it is unclassified storeApiCartData and wc-blocks_dismissed_incompatible_extensions_notices local-storage entries at the last verification

A category describes the principal purpose identified by the consent platform. A provider’s use may involve several processing purposes, and the live declaration is the authoritative current list for this website.

4. Current technologies and providers

The Cookiebot declaration was last independently verified on 7 August 2026 at 01:16 UTC. It detected 38 records: 18 necessary, 1 preference, 3 statistics, 15 marketing and 2 unclassified. The list changes when cookies expire, providers update their services, the website changes or a new scan is completed.

Current providers and technologies include:

Provider or service Typical role on MYTRT
MYTRT and WooCommerce Accounts, sessions, basket, checkout, order attribution and local site functionality
Cookiebot by Usercentrics Consent banner, consent record, category choice and automatically updated declaration
Stripe Payment authentication, fraud prevention and secure checkout
hCaptcha and Google reCAPTCHA-related technology Bot detection and protection of forms or services
Google Analytics, advertising, conversion measurement, product listings and embedded-service functions where enabled and consented
Meta Platforms Advertising measurement and Meta Pixel functions where consented
Amazon payment components Payment-window or transaction-support functions where presented
TWIPLA Website statistics where enabled and consented
Sourcebuster-style sbjs_* technologies Campaign source and attribution information where enabled and consented

The presence of a provider in this table does not mean that every technology is used on every page or for every visitor. Region, browser, consent choice, login state, payment method and page features affect what is set.

The declaration below is generated by Cookiebot from its current scan. It identifies each detected technology, provider, stated purpose, type and maximum storage duration. It also displays your current consent state and provides controls to change or withdraw consent.

Cookiebot automatically scans and updates its declaration, but automated classification can be incomplete or wrong. We review unclassified entries and material provider changes. If you believe a technology is missing or misclassified, contact us using section 9.

6. Third parties and international processing

A third-party technology may send information such as an IP address, device or browser information, page URL, interaction, transaction event or identifier to its provider. A provider may combine information in accordance with its own privacy notice and the configuration selected by MYTRT.

Some providers operate internationally. Where cookie data is personal information and is transferred outside the United Kingdom, the relevant controller must use a lawful transfer mechanism, such as UK adequacy regulations, the UK International Data Transfer Agreement, the UK Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses, or another applicable safeguard. See the Privacy Notice for more information.

Provider information is available through the links in the live declaration. In particular:

We do not intentionally send clinical records to advertising providers or use patient records to create advertising audiences.

7. Browser and device controls

Most browsers allow you to view, block or delete cookies and site data. These controls are separate from the Cookiebot choice. Blocking all cookies may prevent login, basket, payment, security and preference functions from working.

You may also be able to limit advertising identifiers, cross-site tracking, location access or similar functions through device or browser settings. A browser’s “do not track” signal is not implemented consistently across providers; use the Cookiebot controls for the categories governed by this website.

Deleting cookies may remove the stored consent choice, in which case the banner may appear again. Deleting an optional cookie does not necessarily delete information already lawfully retained by its provider; use the provider’s privacy controls or contact route where appropriate.

8. How long technologies remain

The live declaration states the maximum storage duration detected for each technology. Durations range from a browser session to persistent storage or a stated number of days, months or years. “Persistent” means that the technology does not have a simple fixed expiry in the scan and may remain until removed, replaced or cleared.

We review whether the stated duration is proportionate to the purpose. A provider may update a duration without changing this narrative policy, which is why the live declaration—not a copied list—is the current source.

Consent records are retained for the period needed to apply the choice, demonstrate consent and meet legal obligations. Security, payment and transaction information derived from a necessary technology may be retained separately under the retention periods in the Privacy Notice.

9. Changes and contact

We update this policy when the website, provider mix, law or consent configuration changes materially. The version and date at the top identify the current text. Cookiebot’s live declaration may update more frequently following scans.
